Frozen embryos, FET

Usually there are more than one embryo developed as a result of IVF procedure. In IVF cycle one or two (very seldom three) embryos are selected and transferred into uterus. All other good quality embryos can be frozen and stored in our embryo bank. Freezing and storing embryos can be a backup if the first fresh IVF procedure is not successful but sometimes the couple comes back to the clinic when there is a wish for a second child. It makes possible that there are siblings in family who are fertilized at the same day but born in different years.

According to Estonian legislations embryos can be stored up to 7 years.
